I love when pro sports teams are about 10 years behind the retro trend.

The city skyline thing is a cool idea, but poorly executed here.

At least JaVale McGee seems to realize what a lame ripoff those unis are.
Have some patience, FFS.

Bocephys

The real kick in the pants will be when people start accusing us of ripping off the Nuggets' uniform design.

JaVale doesn't see any difference between these unis and the red and white striped ones that he wore for the Washington Nuggets last season.

He'll mope his way out of Denver just like he did in Washington because of this...
Relax. Respect the Process.

They even got Jae Crowder to showcase them, the 2nd guy from the left.

First the NBA rips off MU's uniforms.  Then NBA players start ripping off our players' hairstyles.  At least we know our arena is safe from imitation.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Don't forget 3 goggles...
I'm like a turtle, sometimes I get run over by a semi.

Shorts are cool but why get nuggets shorts when I can have Marquette ones

(I assume #34 is JaVale, but I'm to lazy to confirm that) Anyways ... I love how he broke out the knee pads for a photo shoot.  Was there an expectation that this would be a full contact affair?
Captain, We need more sweatervests!  TheManInGold has been blinded by the light (off the technicolor sweatervest)

PuertoRicanNightmare

Didn't we rip off the checkerboard side from DePaul?

Actually Wes and the Blazers were doing the goggles before MU....
But I like to throw handfuls...

In any event, most of the blogs/commentary on the uniforms (both Denver and national) are near-unanimous in making mention of the shorts borrowing Marquette's barber pole pattern.  It's not exactly recruit-grabbing press, but good press for MU nonetheless.

I first saw the pic on PTI, instantly thought MU and then he states it.

Am I the only one who likes 'em?

I'm not sure it's that people don't like them but more that they are a blatant rip-off of our uniforms.

The side was based off an old marquette jersey used from 71-74

Hey - We're trend setters!   :)
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.

Don't think this went unnoticed at Uniwatch!

It looks like Uniwatch got it from The Basketball Jones.  Speaking of which, does anyone know if the TBJ guys have an MU connection?  There's this and I've heard MU mentions before on their podcast.

Who cares. Imitation is supposed to be the best form of flattery. If it brings a tiny bit of national attention, its a good thing.

Why then aren't women flattered when they see ZFB dressed up in drag?

I do like the baby blue waistline on the Nuggets shorts.  I may adopt their team.  Alex English is good.
