Let me preface by saying I'm not near involved in our fan community compared to others and I'm glad that more people want to get involved in the MU conversation, but...

why have there been so many people joining in the last 48 hours and posting non-stop? Does this happen at the end of every season and I just didn't notice before?

There's been a standard number of folks who registered .. only one of whom posted more than a few times, and that's our resident SMU troll.
