I usually don't comment on recruits much, especially when I have not seen them play in person.  But, from what I've seen in highlight films and combined with his shooting and three point shooting percentages, I am looking forward to seeing Duane running this team. A point who appears to be able to do it all, and very smoothly at that.

Duane Wilson aside from the talent, is a very appropriate name for an MU guard in the tradition of say, Michael Wilson and D Wade?

I love this kid and his talents. It is far from a concern but I think he might be more a two than one down the road. He has great talents and shooting range. If he can adjust at next level to be a one I think he will be a force for MU.

.  Can anyone that has seen him live in action chime in?
Saw him in Feb. The best way to describe his game is "smooth" -- almost effortless and he has 12 pts and 10 assists. Definitely has a better shot than Cadougan. Where Cadougan seems to be giving his all, you can tell. Wilson was like a gazelle and never seemed  to be breaking a sweat.

Agreed.  Watched him in the state tourney championship game.  Duane plays very smooth.  He is a complete player.  What was really impressive was his leadership and dominance.  He is a winner.  A great, great addition to Marquette!

I try really hard to not get too impressed/excited by those recruiting videos because everyone can just cherry pick their best moments.  But watching his, there were things in that video that just looked so...smooth...that I really was impressed.  Even when you're picking your best moments, you've got to be able to do them in the first place.  This kid looked really, really good to me.  I've seen a lot of these over the years, and this one just really impressed.  I thought he looked much better than a three star 128th ranked player (as he is on Rivals).
Never wrestle with a pig.  You both get dirty, and the pig likes it.

Another Video showing Deonte Burton and Duane Wilson.

FYI...notice with later 'featured players' the defense by Wilson...by anyone for that matter.  Not a whole lot being played...IMO.
