Seeing that 45% of Florida's FG attempts are from 3 I wanted to do a bit of research on how good they have been doing lately. A few things that I found interresting are:

On the season they are shooting 38.3% (342 of 892)
In SEC and NCAA tournament play they are shooting 34.0% (35 of 103)
FL was shooting 40% from the 3 on 2/21 (288 of 720)
since 2/21 in 7 games they are shooting 31.4% (54 of 172)

A 40% 3pt shooting team dropping down to 31.4% over the next 7 games is a bit of a drop off. The big event on that date was the season ending injury to Will Yeguete. Having not seen FL play at all this year I can't give a proper analysis, but does anyone knowledgeable about their team think his loss could be impacting their ability to hit 3s? Could it be the lack of a post player is resulting in less attention being paid to the post and allowing defenders to play tighter on the perimeter?
