Insert 4ever and PRN rant about Crean in this article.

This is vintage!

"Regarding Steve's mechanics, Crean said he worked with him the most on a quicker release, a quicker step into his shot and being able to shoot the ball more off the dribble and off movement."

Steve is one of my all time favorite Marquette players...absolutely loved him. But he never developed the ability to shoot off the dribble or off movement. And he still can't.

Also vintage is Crean's recollection that UCONN was "#1" when Steve went for 41/16. They weren't, otherwise we'd have a banner hanging.

You might want to hide your eyeballs.  Plenty of shots here from Inside Marquette of Novak hitting shots off the dribble, off movement. The shot against Notre Dame to win it, are you really going to tell us that wasn't with movement and off the dribble? Makes you wonder if you paid attention at all or merely have so much hatred you can't see it.  Please, watch the video.  Novak is such a class act, mature beyond his years.

Vintage.  Vintage.  Reinko, your call was also vintage.

He didnt miss a chance to drop DWades name either... The guy is a shameless joke.

ringout

Surefire method to cut down the number of Hoopachic posts.  Don't criticize Crean.

Chicoloop will be the next poster whenever that happens.

I am struggling to find the downside in this.  I don't think it is EVER a problem when ESPN writes an article about a former MU player and mentions Dwyane Wade in the same article.  And frankly, I don't care who brings it in.

Canadian Dimes

Seroiusly Dwade made him a better shhoter because he got him to go to the gym??  What one paragraph after they said he was always in the gym.  Uconn #1, and Crean honed his realease... Just like novaks dad said his shot has never changed.
Marquette n dwade mentions are fine.
Crean is a pathetic shill for himself

I'm a big time Crean hater for how he left the team, but honestly, how can anyone have any beef with this feature of Novak??

No kidding, but we're not always dealing with rational people here.  The best one is if these guys actually saw the video posted they would probably stop in the tracks.  I count at least 6 baskets in that video where Novak is shooting off the dribble or moving despite what one poster said.  Then you hear Novak's interview at the end of the video and his crediting to the coaching he got (similar to Wade and Diener's comments) that make you just laugh at the comments here.  What else can you do.

Great for Steve Novak and Marquette.  Not surprised it took only a few seconds before some here couldn't take a nice article about one of our best players ever and turn it into an opportunity for their hate venting to start.   ::)

Most recent Knicks game on TV, Novak hit 2 shots off dribble, one coming after nice shot fake.
