Why can't we strive to be elite and make consistent deep runs? Win the BE tourney make a few consistent Elite 8's and better recruits will come. You're going to disagree with that?

I was taught to always want to be the best. I want MU to be the best. I'll never settle that we have to be an average program.

By the way, never ever ever reference me rooting for school like Duke or UNC - totally ridiculous on your part.

You're probably the guy always picked last in sports and was just thankful...give me a break with the half empty b.s.

How can we go three pages in a thread about intelligence and not mention that the OP appears to quote/rip on himself in the same post?

What bothers me about the team that may speak to their lack of intelligence is some players have been making the same mistakes all year.  DJO and Vander in particular have been out of control a few times a game.  They have probably accounted for 3/4 of our player control turnovers (charges).  There are ways to drive more under control, where the opposition is less able to take a charge, but they are still insistent on putting their head down and driving, trying to force things.

We were down how many time's by 10+ points? C'mon man why were no adjustments made - lack of intelligence.

I'm guessing when MU was getting off to slow starts and coming back to win you thought it was because they were too dumb to start strong.  Now they get down in one game and can't come back and they are too dumb to make an adjustment.  I don't believe you can have it both ways....MU made many adjustments to come back in games when they were down 10+ points...which based upon your argument probably makes MU one of the most intelligent teams in the NCAA.
