Who's recruiting him???  Who cares?

EDIT:  I should give credit to the DePaul Scout board for posting this...

It appears Buzz doesn't fall into that trap.   Witness Jae, JFB, Buycks, DJO, Mayo.    The guys who have disappointed some on this board are those who fall into the catergory criticized by the author.   EWill, JJones, VBlue.   JJones and Blue clearly can still have an impact and I believe they will.   But those other 4 had a far more immediate impact than their so-called pedigree dictates.   Hopefully, Buzz continues to land these junkyard dogs that win ugly.    Because the most important word is 'win'.

Witness the lack of McDonald All-Americans and the wins over teams that have them.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

I know people love to hate on McDonald's All-Americans and I get why, but it should be noted that since 1979, there has only been one NCAA National Championship team without a McD's All-American and of those all but 6 had more than one.

2002 Maryland was the team without one.

Yup, and Lonnie Baxter, Steve Blake, Juan Dixon and Chris Wilcox all went to the NBA.

We'll gladly accept a couple of McDonald's All-Americans and take our chances.

Add a couple of McD's AA's to the Land of the Misfit Toys, and then we'll really have something.
