Contrary to popular opinion, a game where they "let 'em play" hurts us, because we don;t get to the line as much when we drive.  We're not excessive hackers ourselves, though we reach for the ball a lot.  As for tonight's officiating, no complaints.  Very evenly called.

There's a spectrum of reffing out there .. from refs calling everything to refs letting a lot of stuff go.  MU counts on getting fouls, so if the refs aren't calling fouls, the game is different for MU, since our points per possession goes down (unless we start hitting jumpers.)

I'm spolied by the fact that we often make more FTs than the other team attempts.  When that doesn't happen, I usually blame the refs.  It didn't happen today, but I can't blame the refs too much, thought they did a good job.   Just one of those days for us today.....Bring on DePaul
