Why is it taking longer to name DJO stud of the game than it took the BE to name him player of the week?

Team game homie. And even if he went 5-5 instead of 0-5, we would still be losing. When you get down by 18 quickly, lots of things go wrong and lots of things going right for opposing. Without him, we lose to Nova, and most teams for that matter.

Besides, doing the "mods" thing seems to be a pretty tough gig, with a very modest return. I don't think $20 to get your guy named SOG would do it.

Unless of course the old Avalanche has been reincarnated.  In that case (and in those days) $20.00 might last a semester.  Shot and a beer? .40 cents please.  (25 cent shots + 15 cent drafts, circa '74-'76.)  I think tuition, plus room and board/dorm room would cost you about $3,500.00 per year, about double what it would have cost you to go to a state school at the time.

With 3 technicals in the game, I'm sure the mods are just doing their due diligence to make sure that DJO showed enough sportsmanship to deserve the SotG. I'm sure the hangup is trying to get Doris Burke to breakdown the Wayns technical to make sure that DJO had no role in it.

I've filled out all the paperwork to get everyone a refund on their site membership since it's evident we've not fulfilled our part of the contract.

In all honesty, I've been a very absentee moderator for most of January, and Topper, SoCal, and Spiral have done well to keep on top of things, but it's not like the "Stud of x game update guy" is a well defined roll in our ad-hoc moderation crew.
