There wasn't much of an uproar when Rosario committed to Rutgers and I think that one should merit more discussion. The one to keep an eye on is Theodore. Seems MU is putting on the full court with him and if they lose him it may be cause for concern.

On Rosario - - coach Hurley said several weeks ago that distance was a factor for the kid, he preferred to stay closer to home.   Not sure what the discussion would be on him.

Theodore - he's a very important recruit for TC.  Acker and Cubillan are good role players, but TC needs to replace James/McNeal/Matthews with commensurate high-ceiling talent.  Theodore fits

I understand Rosario may have preferred to stay at home. Any discussion on him would have been more then what was talked about. The discussion would revolve around Crean's increasing reliance on the NJ/NY metro pipeline. Rather, we discuss longshot prospects from areas we are not recruiting heavily (Clarke from Oklahoma, DeRozan from California, Green from Alabama, etc.) (Nick Williams is an anomaly thanks to Seltzer water) and acting as if the program will collapse if they don't sign with MU.

The focus of recruiting discussion for an MU fan nowadays should be the NJ/NY metro area and how to improve our rates of landing prospects from that region -- whether or not they ultimately want to stay close to home. Thus, why I think Rosario should have been discussed more and why people should recognize that the Easter Bunny is stalking Theodore with a full basket.

NY/NJ pipeline is great especially since we now are in teh Big East but I still think we can do better with the Chicago/Indianapolis area.  There's alot of talent in these cities and since we're not that far away I think we have alot to offer those types of recruits.
