I searched every NCAA game we've been in since Stanford and we didn't wear them.

Maybe I dreamed this?

Can't recall tourney games but I know what shoe you're talking about.  Patent leather with yellow trim (I think) but the shoes were mostly black/navy blue.

The OJ Mayos we bought have more light blue than the new ones, plus the new ones seem more restrained. The gold laces with dark blue threading might have something to do with it. I  got mine at the Nike Outlet in Johnson Creek for $45. It's one of those things where all the stars lined up and they had these shoes that would seem bizarre to anyone other than an MU fan in my size and cheap. About a month later, we were in the Nike outlet by Kenosha and they had one pair of size 8 1/2 and I got them for my son. I wear mine for hoops on Saturdays and my son has just about outgrown his.

I don't know about the Nike ID stuff to create your own shoes, but I wouldn't recommend the Addidas create-your-own DRose Adizero. I created a pair that looked pretty cool.  They came directly from China. I wore them once for bball and never wore them again. I'll give them to my son for walking around shoes when he fits into them. Almost no support and so flimsy. I could barely walk the next day. I attribute that to being old AND the shoes.

Wore them against MSU, which is probably why nobody remembers them.  Here's a pic - you can see players wearing them behind crean.

Almost all the shoes Marquette wears are Jordan pes (player editions) and are very hard to find.

I remember MU wearing yellow shoes.  Want to say it was sometime in the 06-07 season or 07-08 season in a random game, maybe against DePaul.
