Just scored tickets to the game.  Looking forward to being the only Warrior alum in a box full of Bucky grads!  Definitely worth the 4hour drive through a snow storm Saturday morning.

Is the MU Alumni association hosting any pre game events in or near the Kohl Center?  If not, would anyone care to suggest an establishment near the arena for unofficial official spot for some pre-game libations, lubrication, warm up "exercises" for fellow MU Alum?  Hopefully, a place with a minimal red rodent population!

I have no qualms about MU alum taking over an establishment in Madison.  Anyone remember spring break in 1983 at The Button in Ft. Lauderdale!!!!  Anyone know what happened to the gal who represented us (and won) the erotic banana eating contest? :D

Go Warriors!!!

We always go to the Echo Tap. Older crowd, dare I say respectful Badger fans and good beer selection. Heard they remodeled. Maybe 4 blocks from Kohl Center. Never totally crammed like the State St. and Regent bars.

Echo was great back in the day when you could smoke in bars and the bus stop was outside.

My buddy blew up one of their bartenders at home plate in softball and a bag of blow flew out of his pocket and his nose damn near exploded like Yasmine Bleeth's.

The Alumni assoc is running a game watching party out at Erin's Pub, but that is closer to 94/90 & 151.

Echo is a pretty decent place, I know they usually get pretty busy before hockey games, but I haven't seen the crowd there for a basketball game yet. Another decent place is the Nitty Gritty. It's only one block from the Kohl Center, and it's fairly big.
