Off a slashing drive?  Don't think so....

The lob pass off of drives happen all the time, especially to guys you've drawn a defender off of, but the player your going to give the ball to isn't able to handle a pass at the rim or can't get up that high. If the slasher goes up and the secondary defender doesn't go up, the ball often is lobed over to the big man, or if the defender goes up, you get an underhanded dump off or bounce pass option.

Hopefully this is the first and last time we hear the nickname "Dougie". You'd think Junior or Caddy would be enough. What's next, calling Vander "Lu-ie", or DJO "Odjie"?

Nicknames don't need to have anything to do with the person's real name.

Most people refer to ZFB as a$$$$ck.
