One of the most upsetting things I have ever seen in my life was earlier in the year when we blew a 17 point lead against Louisville.

Really?

At the least, they made MU a legitimate top five squad in the Big East............until last season.

Yeah, and at least last year's 9th place team in the Big East won the National Championship, and also another 9th place Big East team made the Sweet 16 - something the Top 5 Big East Squads of the Big 3 were never able to do.

Oh, BTW. Now that the "Three Amigos", Lazar, Acker, and David are gone, look what happens... Boom! Sweet 16. Those guys, while talented, were underachievig chokers. You can go ahead and try to insult me all you want. You're trying to divert the fact that people might think that I make sense. Schoolyard names and crappy posts won't change the fact tha tthey had disappointing seasons. Look for big things now that the LOSERS that Crean recruited are gone. This is Buzz's team, and if he gets these guys to buy into him, we're going to be a force.

You realize that if Dom didn't break his foot his senior year, MU very well could/should have made it to the Sweet Sixteen.  The 3 Amigo's were a solid group of student athletes that had various injuries (See Wes Freshman year, Jerel Sophomore year and Dom Senior year), played on a flawed team (post man was 6'8" at best) and were saddled with Crean's over-managing their first 3 seasons.

And you realize D. Wade was/is one of those losers that Crean recruited, right?

"And you realize D. Wade was/is one of those losers that Crean recruited, right? "

While this is true, we all know that Crean fell a$$ backwards into D Wade going to MU. According to a conversation I had with Coach Fitz (Wade's high school coach at Richards and currently a scout for the Miami heat), D Wade wasn't getting many offers becasue of his academic ineligibility. To Wade, it was between MU and St Xavier University, a small school on the SW side of Chicago. So while I am thrilled that things worked out with Wade the way they did, I feel that Crean's defining moment as a coach was when he rode into the AL on a four wheeler doing karate took a chance on a young kid from Robbins. While I do give him credit for making Wade an offer, I think luck was a major factor (as it is with all coaches signing superstars). I believe that the signing of Wade paved the way for a strong program for the next decade, I just feel that they (MU post Wade) could have done more. There comes a time when I stop feeling sorry for myself and my team for losing close games and start looking for answers. The answer that I was left with is that those guys couldn't get it done when it counted. Players play, winners win, losers lose, chokers choke, and haters hate. Its the way of the world.

Dwyane Wade credits Tom Crean with turning him into the player he is today.  You think Dwayne Wade is wrong?

I have no idea what Dwayne said. DWYANE, however, may be right when he said that Crean made him the player he is today. Hustle, defense, and work ethic is how Wade made himself a star and those are all qualities of a Crean player. Wes alluded that Crean held him back. Do you think Wes is wrong?

Crean's offensive scheme obviously held Wes back.  Wes wasn't supposed to be a scorer in that offense, and nobody complained when James, Hayward and McNeal were filling up the bucked while Wes was doing the dirty work.

That was a typo on the Dwyane thing.  I spelled it right earlier.  I'm trying to comment quick between all-day meetings :P

December of 2009 from MU. The "big" 3 had talent, but didn't win $hit. They were choke artists.

What makes me a douche? Is it because I'm a thirty five year old man from inner city Milwaukee who is one of four to graduate from MU all while using the same insults as a fifth grader? Oh, wait...

I, for one, am grateful MU was able to find the rare species of college basketball coach who preaches hustle, defense and work ethic. Too many guys out there today teach players sloth and to care only about scoring.

Crean fell a$$ backward into his Robert Jackson recruitment, Crean didn't need to just offer D Wade - he had to fight pretty damn hard to let MU to accept his LOI and admit him.  It's true that he probably had to work harder to sell the Athletic office on Wade then he had to sell Wade on MU.  I'm not a Crean fanboy, I think he's a phony - but I do give him credit for helping Marquette transition to the Big East, and lead a winning program while he was here.  I don't like how he did it or his personality, but I have to be honest with myself and say that he helped MU - although he's a total douche bag.

Crean didn't have much success in the NCAA's, but what's MU's current streak for consecutive NCAA's?  How many other D1 schools would kill to have a streak like that?

You're all a bunch of f-ing losers who waste your time writing nonesense and then responding to each others' nonesense.  I do appreciate it, as it gives me something to read from time to time.  P.S- Wade is a joke anyways.  He's a little crybaby who claims injury whenever relevant. He's dead to me.
