I wont miss Billy Packer, even as he ripped the coverage lineup for this years tourney. See:
...."Okay, now for why Barkley is mad: Packer, in an interview with USA Today's Michael Hiestand, criticized the new television format for the NCAA tournament. Instead of being shown solely on CBS this year, the tourney will be shown on CBS and three Turner-owned networks, and NBA announcers will be used to call the games. Packer fears that using NBA announcers (like, say, Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith) will bring down the quality of the telecast. ..."

I will miss Jay Bilas, and Bob Knight not doing color, in game.

Will we see older guys like Vern Lundquist, or Dick Enberg (assuming they're alive-lol).

Is the announcer/color lineup available by link? Ill be flipping channels, and to me, announcers matter.

As long as were on the topic of announcers: this one has been chapping my ass for awhile.....

Does anyone here actually enjoy Raftery and his announcing/jokes/incoherent screams?

Personally I cannot stand him, maybe i just dont get his humor....

Sorry to scoop community for being my venting source...

Count me as one who likes Raftery.  Put him and Bilas together, throw in Gus Johnson, and you've got a great listen.  Hopefully, Gus stays on NCAA hoops.

Gus Johnson is the best...............raftery is only funny through Jay Bilas' twitter, so I guess that makes Raftery funny to me then.
