As a Michigan fan I think it is a big mistake trying to move this fast, but I think they are concerned about losing a pretty good recruiting class if they let things drag on.  Insiders are reporting (I am not an insider) that it is already down to Lowery and Miller. 

I frustrates the hell out of me that we refuse to spend top dollar to get a current big name coach, but again we are going the cheap route in an effort to catch a up and coming coach.

I see Crean is in michigan today.  Must be to vist Izzo and not the UM job then.

Sure seems like UM could do better than Lowry in particular (2 yrs at SIU has not proven he can build anything).  Miller -- that'd be a good get I think though a high-profile hire was what I expected

maybe Izzo had TC over to meet with the UM ad and have some Bud Lights.   :D
