The Experts

Anyone else watch "The Experts" on ESPNU tonight?  The panelists voted 4-2 that Xavier would win.  They seem to think that Marquette won't be able to handle Tu Holloway off the numerous ball screens that Xavier runs because our defense is poor and doesn't switch very well.  They also said that the Crowder/Frease match-up will be crucial.  I was a little confused by this because I didn't really see those two matching up against each other.  Dino Gaudio then stated that they would be match-up because he is our 5.  Adrian (I forgot his last name) then said not to forget about Otule coming off of the bench to help Crowder.

Do these guys really know what they are talking about?  I agree a little bit with the ball screen defense but I think that Buzz knows that and will prepare the them accordingly.  Also, I know that they have 68+ teams (including teams they thought would make it in but didn't) that they have to read up on and analyze but you would think that they could at least get the general starting line-up correct.

On a side note they have been poking a lot of fun at Mike Kelley for being a Badger which was pretty humorous.

Yeah, they didn't talk about Erik Williams at all!

I saw it. I thought some of what they said was good, some was bad. I don't really agree with what they said about Marquette, but then again, I don't expect them to follow the team the way people on this board do. Most of what they said was better than what Doug Gottlieb has been saying lately, anyway...
