I may be different from some here. The NCAA tourney does an ok job on sites and relatively even spreading out of teams in the brackets. With the extreme parity, and MU in the tourney, I dont care who we play, or where.
I especially dont want to get into the sweet 16, by some lucky draw of round one and two teams.
Yet it seems some would be happy with that. The simple debate is do we want whoever they throw at us, (remember--thats why they play the games), or is the preference to advance by favorable seedings (ie maybe playing an overly ranked, beatable team, like BYU, post player suspension).
I am of the mind to care nothing of seedings, and actually look forward to tough draws...because real competition means wanting to play and beat the best.
For those who'd prefer easy seeding, and advancement by favorable scheduling------please help me understand this preference. Thanks.
I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.

With our likely seeds, we are going to have to beat one of the big boys to get to the second weekend anyway.   Some of the big boys we match up better with.

It's difficult to play over your head several games in a row.  Get a good draw matchup-wise to the sweet 16 and you can play over your head for a game or two to get to the final four.  Plus the second weekend gets you a ton more exposure.  I don't care how we get there, but my preference before hand would be an easier, more-assured route.
