Spaniel with a Short Tail

Taking 6 to tonight's game, at least 4 in gold. Anyone else going?

The ladies got smoked tonight by Depaul.

That's pretty accurate. DePaul came out at the start of the second half on fire. Played some nice team basketball. Doug Bruno has a nice set offense - no one standing around - and his girls execute it very well. Marquette couldn't make any treys until the game was out of hand and got smoked on the offensive boards, reminding me of the men's team unfortunately.  Was a nice MU contingent in the crowd though - good to see.

I was at the game tonight and felt like Marquette let a lot of chances slip away in the first half and DePaul simply ran away with the game in the 2nd half.  DePaul is a very good team and is tough to beat down there - I've seen way too many losses down there - MU is now 1-9 in McGrath Arena and their record in its predecessor - Alumni Hall wasn't all that great.  Marquette will have to put together a more complete game in 2 weeks if they want to have a shot at the upset in Milwaukee.  It was a nice turnout for Marquette fans tonight though. The bleachers there sure make me appreciate the Al all the more :).

They go on the road to Seton Hall next - a team that just picked up their first BE win today and are now 1-10 in the BE so it's definitely one they need to win.  Rutgers comes to town next Saturday for MU's pink game - that's a game they should win and I don't think they've ever beaten Rutgers.

Go Marquette!

Agreed - that place was a dump. My back still hurts from those seats.
