The jury is still out.  As great as Buzz coached last year, he is coaching as terrible this year.  It is really confusing to watch the team play so poorly because of his coaching this year.  I would like to believe that Buzz can turn it around and get his head back into the game.  The trends of poor coaching, play calling, defensive lapses, second half melt downs, playing a weak line up, taking players that are "hot" out and "cooling" them down, etc.  Buzz had single handedly been the primary cause of several losses this year.  We will watch the next couple games carefully to see if the negative trends continue.  Hope not.  Go Marquette!!!

Agree that the jury is still out; don't necessarily know that Buzz is single handedly respondisble for several losses or that the next couple games determine much in the big picture.  We've seen the highs with this year's highly ranked recruiting class and last year's fantastic coaching effort with a team of midgets getting a 6 seed and being a pleasure to watch.  I've been disappointed with this season so far.  Next year's recruiting class is also weak so far; Anderson looks to be great but we have at least two more spots to fill and struck out on multiple top recruits.  I care about results; I don't care about close losses because they're losses, I don't think other coaches or other team's failures justify our own, and I don't care about being in the running on top recruits and not getting them in or getting them in to sit the bench.  I'm sure Buzz overall is somewhere in the middle of last years highs and this years lows, we'll see where that falls relative to expectations in the next couple years, not games.

If Buzz is young and learning from his mistakes, then why do his defenses always stink?

What exactly is he putting into practice from all that "learning" going on?

Is he improving at making in-game adjustments?

Are his teams reacting well to end-of-close-game situations?

Do the Warriors LOOK well coached when the game is on the line?  Or do they seem confused and tentative?

pro-buzz, as a person and a coach.

Will he lead us to multiple final fours like the dearly departed Ners suggested?  Probably not. But will he be a solid coach that gets us to a couple sweet 16s and some high level BE finishes?  Sure.

what happened to Ners?

JayBee, Chicos and Ners were given a "two week time out" by the mods starting Monday.

9 more days without them!

Buzz is the guy.  He's shown us a lot already, and there is no reason to think he won't get better.  I like stability.
