Yes, Cadougan.   15 assists and 2 turnovers in conference play.   What more can you ask from your backup point guard?    Yeah, he need to hit a shot just so we can all do a spit take.  But I am not afraid of next year.

yeah but they are not difficult assists.  Only like 5 of them have been the result of him actually doing something.  He sucks.

He has also improved his defense immensely.  not a lock down defender by any stretch of the imagination.  but he does a good job of denying the ball and chasing off screens, and is actually adequate now at denying the drive.  quite the asset off the bench.

I liked that stretch in the first half where we (because of DJO's 2 fouls) had Cadougan-Buycks at the point and 2.  Freed Dwight up to his more natural position, IMO.  Wouldn't mind seeing a bit more of that.  We've got a nice second unit with Cadougan-Blue-Fulce-Gardner.  Just wish Gardner would minimize the mistakes and stay on the floor more.

Really?  I don't see to many other guys consistently making the "easy" assists. Someones got to do it.

I think that is thick sarcasm.

Personally, I'm not a big Junior fan - and have made some comments that call into question the "merit" of his assists...I will say that his defense has been much better.  So long as the team has scorers on the floor, his offensive limitations/deficiencies can be hidden.  As some have pointed out, this team doesn't need him to score -which is good -because he clearly struggles offensively.  He's good in transition as far as assisting in transition - but I still can't say I'm too excited with his half court game...

That said, he is providing a solid minute contribution with limited turnovers, so that is a plus.
"I'm not sure Cadougan would fix the problems on this team. I'm not even convinced he would be better for this team than DeWil is."

Listen/watch buzzes post game.  He completely disagrees with you on junior.  Says he's great at delivering the ball in the right spot for catch and shoot.  It probably looks easier than it is and he makes it look easy.  16 assists to 2 turnovers the last 3 games.

Take a look in the mirror when you say that, Atlanta Warrior!

Never mind, I will post this for somebody else:

Amen brothers Amen...I hope those that have been ripping JC can be as willing to admit they were wrong. JC and Vander are both doing their jobs right now, and scoring is not one of the priorities for either. Buzz has roles for players and for JC its is protect the ball, distribute the ball and defend the ball.  Buzz prefers to have someone at the PT that can attack the rim as well, but with the others on the team right now it is not necessary.

I agree that for JC to move to the next level he will have to work on his shot, but that can be this off season, right now he is a key reserve and a integral part of this team.
