The article is titled WILD CARDS: Led by Mr. Everywhere, Jimmy Butler, Marquette shuns conventional positions. The Golden Eagles are onto something.

Few good lines:

"At Marquette it starts with a wavy blue line drawn down the middle of a dry erase board. Take a trip to the team website and coach Buzz Williams will walk you through it." - goes on to talk about the Marquette Revealed episode where Buzz talks about the lineup.

"Williams says he's not overly clever, but he knows how to use his switchables to challenge any opponent that follows basketball's traditional caste system."

"Last season, 6'6" Lazar Hayward often manned the middle of Marquette's four-out, one-in offensive set. Where an old-school pivotman might set his back to the hoop and wait for an entry pass, Hayward used his versitality to exploit all the angles."

Very nice article on page 64 of ESPN magazine.  It calls Butler "Mr. Everything" and discusses Buzz's preference for "switchables" over traditional positions.  Bonus is you get the cover picture of Lindsay Vonn re-enacting Basic Instinct.

Jimmy is getting love, though not front cover love.

I was at an elementary school book fair and they had a 2010-2011 College Basketball March Madness (primer)magazine for sale. Though MU is only mentioned in the conference section, Jimmy was highlighted as one of 5 or 7 top NCAA forwards.

Article in ESPN Magazine, also on their web site, about MU's versitility.  Particlularly regarding the 1-2-3 positions.

Anyone able to post the article for non-insiders?

Is this the same aricle mentioned here: http://www.muscoop.com/index.php?topic=22309.msg244073#msg244073

Yes, same article.  Apologies for missing the earlier MU post on this.

No problem, now they're one :)

Nice article featuring MU in the 11/29 ESPN mag - the one with the cover that I thought had Sharon Stone on it.
