72-61 MU....Final...scary game...MU trailed almost the entire game

I can just hear Buzz talking about this young team's "character being revealed" today. Nice comeback, and a good tuneup for some big games ahead.

It was crunch time and who was in with the game ont he line?  Junior.  He is our point guard.  He runs the offense better than anyone elseo so far.  I think Buzz was happy with what he say out of Junior at the end - only thing he did wrong was foul a guy going for the ball.

And so was Gardner in at crunch time - not garbage munites - crunch time wit the game on the line - freshman!  And really, the 3 by Blue was HUGE as was he juke to the hoop.

Benford walked down to JC right before he was subbed in at the start of the run and got in his face too, in a fire up way.

The last part he said was "you are the guy".  I took it as a this is the way we always want you to play, now that you've proven you can, you're out of the doghouse.  I'm assuming if he practices well we may see him start or at least get a lot of minutes on Wednesday.

This is very encouraging.  This is going to be a fun group this year and for the next several.  Go Warriors!
