I think he kind of has a point...it is a free board and the topic did generate conversation...just because YOU (all who did not like the thread) did not like it doesn't mean you have to ridicule those that did (and it is clearly obvious some people did want to talk about it)...

FACT: Marquette has yet to land any basketball recruits.

FACT: Many other collegiate basketball programs by this time have landed one recruit or more.

This is not a criticism of or an attack on anyone or anything. It is simple mathematics. Where Marquette has zero, some schools have one or more.

Some here, including icheights and me, find this curious and worthy of discussion on a site created for the purpose of discussing curious and worthwhile topics related to Marquette basketball.

I have shared it in multiple threads.  At this time last year we had 3 scholies available - we landed Vander, Reggie and Jae by April.  I wasn't worried then, and I certainly am not worried now.

There was no conversation, it was all personal attacks.  The thread wasn't locked because of the title or discussion, it was because of the asshattery that ensued once the thread was off-topic... which happened to be just a few posts into the thread.
