ADABloisBasket, of the French League (3rd tier, I believe).

Club site: http://www.ada-basket.com

Sorry for the Google translation but the Twitter referenced an article which came from this site:
http://www.lanouvellerepublique.fr/loir-et-cher/SPORT/Basket/Ligue-du-Centre/LE-RICAIN-NOUVEAU-EST-ARRIVE

It roughly translates to...

Finally! ADA Blois takes its American. The interior Christopher Grimm (2.07 m) has signed on Sunday evening papers which now link with the club Blois.  With Olivier Kolb (2.06 m), Navid Niktash (2 m), Johan Blot (1.98 m) and Benjamin Recoura (1.97 m), the ADA demonstrates that she now intends to weigh in rackets National 1. The team coached by Nicolas Faure is therefore the height.

Christopher Grimm is a U.S. domestic, 26. He measures 2.07 meters and weighs 117 kg. He played for two seasons at Sam Massagno, first Swiss league. But he had previously played in another team Helvetic, the Lugano Tigers, with whom he was Swiss champion.

But it is the United States that began Grimm. He first spent four years at Marquette University where he mixed Dwayne Wade (NBA).  Ranked among the top 20 basketball pivotal American high schools (Er...Univerisities?!?)

Grimm has posted the best statistics of the Swiss league in rebounding during the 2008-2009 season (14.3 pts and 9.3 rds average). Last season, he recorded the same statistics even if it has been ranked as 3rd best rebounder in the end.

"We are on the verge of completing our recruitment, cowardly president Philip Blois Daudin. Two other players are expected between today and tomorrow, bringing to nine the number of professional players at the ADA. The president speaks of a blésois Bosman who will serve as a winger. On the second, you can expect Zaka Alao re-sign with the ADA.

Team

Pierre Brochard (1), Jordan Arlin (1), Benjamin Recoura (2-3), Johan Blot (3-4), Olivier Kolb (4), Navid Niktash (4), Christopher Grimm (5), + 1 bosman (3), + peut-être Zaka Alao (2-3). Pierre Brochard (a), Arlin Jordan (1), Benjamin Recoura (2-3), Johan Blot (3-4), Olivier Kolb (4), Navid Niktash (4), Christopher Grimm (5), Bosman + 1 ( 3) + can be Zaka Alao (2-3).
Entraîneur : Nicolas Faure. Coach: Nicolas Faure.

one thing that stands out in the translation is the quote, "cowardly president Philip Blois Daudin."!

I didn't quite understand it but does this mean "cowardly" is a complement in French?

Sounds like the instructions for something made in China.

Maybe Chris can score more points with the French with Pere Marquette being French and Marquette having the St. Joan of Arc Chapel.

MUBurrow

something about the Chapel always seemed very Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? to me.  No matter how old I get, I can never totally wrap my mind around the fact that they brought it to milwaukee from france.

The Jumpin Jesuit has stolen the St Joan of Arc Chapel! Gumshoe, get on the case!

It was no Patty Larceny, am I right?

I think the Joan of Arc chapel was first assembled on long Island and then donated to MU. Probably purchased at the same time Hearst was buying European antiquities as fast as he could and from a catalogue!

I thought this thread was going to say "Chris Grimm will be playing for the Miami Heat."

I am pretty sure I saw him a couple of weeks ago in the Ardmore/The Gym/Murphy's/Caffery's playing beer pong.  I have to admit I saw him make one dead on from 6-8 ft, so he must be keeping his shot in tune.

Djames4president

THE GRIMM REAPER!!!   Saw him in the summer league game last Friday and he looked really good.  Still in shape, hustling and giving 110%.
