Mike Jakubowski on ESPN

Turned on the TV and it was already tuned to ESPN. I hear some bowling tournament is coming up and one of the commentators was our own Mike Jakubowski.  Couldn't believe it could be the same guy who calls the games at the BC . . . and yet it was Mike.

Love him or hate him, he seemed to be doing a pretty good job doing the commentary on this show before I changed to channel to watch baseball.  It was bowling, afterall.

I noticed this as well. Awesome for Mike to get some face time on ESPN.

I ran into him at a local watering hole after one of the NCAA Tournament games this March-- Seems like a cool guy and is very knowledgeable about college hoops.

I had several classes with him, worked at WMUR with him, drank with him, laughed with him.    Good to see him doing well.

Haha hopefully he'll become the voice of bowling and leave the PA to someone else.

Strongly disagree.  I love how his call of Jimmy Butler gradually deteriorates throughout the game.
