Sure, you might be down by two but you would have almost 10 seconds to get a shot off to tie or win instead of a hail mary with 1.7.

Not true...some do agree with him and some don't.  Boeheim doesn't, Brey doesn't, Few does, etc.  It's a heated debate with results on both sides that can be pointed to.
