Attitude going into 2010/2011...?

what will the effect of tonight's game be on the support/hype from fans/students for the '10/'11 season? 


> Wade brought hope and crowds '02/'03.... and a Final Four
> '04/'05 & '05/'06 had weak teams resulting in weak support
> no star, big bad Big East, and unproven freshman (with failed '07 class fresh in minds) in '05/'06 had ZERO expectations except getting pulverized.  Novak becoming a leader and STUD, coupled with all star freshman and a trashing of UConn brought the support and hope raging back... back to the NCAAs
> great support and hope throughout Three Amigos remaining tenure, even with a Buzz for Crean switch
> this season: no amigos, no post play/height, NO CHANCE?!  maymon leaves, 16 games ending by 4pt or less, big late season run and 5th place BE finish.

Lazar is now gone (w/ david and mo) and another game where a big lead was squandered to lose in the final seconds.  will seeing them "overachieve" this season along with adding vander blue be what it takes to make sure there's a '06/'07 type buzz and support following the program at the start?  or will this season of last second losses, star gone, and NCAA flop result in a slow showing of support until something is proven on the court?
