Blackhat

6'8" forward from Milwaukee Hamilton

Anyone seen him play?   What's the skinny on him?  inside prospect for us or not?

bma725

Not really an inside player, more of a face up small forward type.

How 'bout the dude from Milwaukee Washington? What's his story?

Quevyn Winters?  He's one to keep an eye on.  He's not particularly athletic or fast, but he's super skilled.  Good shooter outside and mid-range, good at attacking the basket.  The question will be is he skilled enough for not being able to out quick or out jump guys at the next level.

He's got UW and MU among his top two but I don't think either one has offered yet.  He did attend the MU Elite Camp and played AAU ball with Vander Blue this summer, so that helps.  He's got a ton of high major interest.  Kansas State, Wake Forest, Minnesota, Purdue, Iowa State, Illinois, Oregon, Oregon State.  Only offers at this point are UWGB and UWM.

Any word on Harris or Winters?

Does anyone know anything about Jaleel Roberts?  I've seen 3 different "scout.com" reports on the kid and one of them (I'm sure it's probably outdated and wrong) lists MU as a contender for him...then again one shows him as a 2011 recruite, and another doesn't list MU at all...so who knows which is accurate!?

Another 6'10" athlete would be a nice replacement for Clark, though...

Is the info that I found way outdated?  Are we involved with this kid at all?

Winters, according to rivals.com, also has an offer from a coach down in Mo. whose team is in the A-10 - the coach's name seems awfully familiar.

He's 2011 and hasn't mentioned MU in quite awhile.

Quoting myself yes, but after this weekends incident, I think it's safe to say we can cross Quevyn Winters off the list of possible targets in 2011.

Darnell Harris seems like he would be a solid addition for our team in the future

Elgin Cook (ISU commit) is the one I wish we could have.
