I think that just goes to show how f*ed up the RPI thing is. Lose 10 straight, mostly blow outs and move up in the RPI. 

Well, it's a mathematical function, so expecting it to move in a logical way according to on the court results may be illogical at times due to the sheer number of games (all opponents and all opponents' opponents).

Pickle....how did Marquette do after Diener went down?   It all depends on how reliant the team is on that specific player.  How will Purdue due with Hummel's injury?  It all depends if the player is a cog or the focal point. 

I would call Harangody a focal point...yet his team is playing better without him.
