Newark, N.J. -- Lazar Hayward's potential game-winning three-pointer came up short, and the Marquette Golden Eagles were heading into their third consecutive overtime game on the road in the last eight days on Sunday afternoon at the Prudential Center.

Yet there Hayward was, along with each of his fellow starters, smiling and laughing near mid-court just prior to tipoff in the extra session. Think this group isn't loose and confident?

How could it not be -- especially after pulling out the previous two overtime affairs at Cincinnati last weekend and at St John's on Wednesday? In this one the Golden Eagles overcame some late heroics from gunner Jeremy Hazell, who scored 12 of his team's 14 points in the extra session, to beat Seton Hall, 84-83.
