Because I couldn't watch the MU game.

The only player off that team that I would want is Jon Leuer.  6'10" guy with some offensive game.  The rest you can have.

tower912

I would take Nankivil, too.   Not his best game, but we could certainly use a 6'8, solidly built guy to hit the boards.

Given our current PG depth, I would welcome Trevon Hughes with open arms for this season.

?? Yeah, who wouldn't take that guy...he's a solid player.  You watch, as much as you hate to hear it, Bo will get those guys in the top half of the Big Ten somehow.  But they are unwatchable.

Did anyone see their game against Arizona?  How bad is Zona this year?

They are in transition, like us. They have alot of young talent.

I'd even venture to say that we have more pieces in place.

Freeport Warrior

Throttled is a little strong.  As I recall, they were within 5 with about 6/7 minutes to play. Glad they lost, but they always seem to stick around.

Arizona definites transition. They lost Jordan Hill and Chase Budinger (both early entrants) to NBA draft. Plus, they had a Top 10 recruiting class for this year and they all decommitted once Lute Olsen retired. Once of the guys (Abdul Gaddy) was a #9 overall prospect.

I'd take Leuer and Nankavil in a heartbeat.

4everwarriors

#9
U of A had Brandon Jennings at one point too.
Sean Miller will be more successful there than you know who. Why? Because he's a better recruiter and a better coach.

Nankavil seems to be very slow footed on defense.  I think our forwards are better than him.

Also, yeah Hughes would be a good PG on our team.

Hayward is better than him, that is all.

You guys are cracking me up!

Hey Badge, why don't you fill us in on the stories you guys are telling over there about what a horrible person Buzz is and how MU is cheating.   If you would like me to cut and paste the sections to give you a teaser, I'm happy to.

Also worth a mention that one their most promising prospects, Kevin Parrom, is out injured. That they're competitive being that young and missing a talent like that is impressive.

Sultan...that wasn't the question. Answer these for me...

1. Right now, today, who is the better player?

2. Which player would contribute more to this years team, in addition to the previous two years, as well as next year?

4everwarriors

How come all those Badgers are built like brick sheethouses? Maybe Yous can audit their weight program?

1. Maymon

2. Since Maymon was still in high school the "previous two years," the answer has to be Nankivil.

Wow, right now, you think Maymon is better than Nankivil?

Not talking about potential. Im talking right now, on November 26th 2009...

Badge;
Did you pick up Bo from the airport yet?  It's funny to see you continually spew out the company line on the Badgers and Bo.  How does it feel to not have a mind of your own and only allowed to say certain things on the internet?  Truly pathetic a grown adult is not allowed to speak their mind.

Nope, I'm satisfied...you dont have a clue.

Classy and substantive retort.

After I watched that game today, it further cemented my opinion that Maymon is better than Nankivil.

Eye

U of A definitely in transition and a lot like MU this year, but better young big guys (Williams reminds me a little of Michael Wright with a little better handle and a little better outside game, along with Hill). Wise is kind of MU's Hayward (returning four-year player), Horne is kind of MU's Butler (developed some range and rebounds well). What MU has that U of A doesn't have right now is more experienced guards that defend. U of A has ability, enough so that they might finish third in a significantly weaker Pac 10 this year and keep the tourney streak alive. They ought to be better next year and potentially really good in 2 or 3 years again. Only 1 senior in Wise and 1 junior in Horne in their top 8. Fogg doesn't defend anyone. The foreign-exchange guy looks a lot like Maymon or Mbao so far, a little lost at times, especially defensively. Jones still takes too many poor shots. Not a big Lavender fan, but he's probably their 5th-best all-around player so far. And a similar young coach who appears to have plenty of upside.
GO WARRIORS!
