Is there a way to have hyperlinks on the mobile internet page? At least on my phone I can get the pages perfectly but there are no hyperlinks.

I use Opera Mini to view Scoop. It's a secondary browser.

Do you use it on a BlackBerry? Is it better than the standard BB browser? I have a Verizon Wireless Pearl...

Yeah, I use it on my 8320. I recently upgraded my OS to the newest version, and the BB Browser is much better. However, Scoop still comes up as the plain mobile version that I dislike.

Opera Mini is a solid browser, it used to be light years ahead of the old BB Browser, but BB is getting better with their browser. I use both regularly depending on what site I'm going to. Opera is more friendly with some sites, but it goes both ways. Opera also has some nice functions such as button scrolling, hot key bookmarks, and copy/paste features.

I'd recommend Opera Mini for every mobile Scooper.

I'll have to download Opera mini today and give it a shot. Still waiting on the new BB OS from Verizon, they seem to be taking their sweet time getting it out there...

Have you looked on the Crackberry forums?

Looks like 4.5 is out after all! Which provider do you use, and have you experienced any bugs?

I use T-Mobile. I updated it myself, really easy. No problems, much, much better OS.

I know this is an old thread - but I don't remember that I had a solution to this.  I just found out that:

Might work to keep the site from automatically switching to mobile mode.  Please let me know - thanks...

edit - bump.  nobody?

spartan3186

I just tried it out and it still automatically switched to the mobile version

Bummer - thanks.  Guess we need the 2.0 upgrade for that to work.  Hopefully we'll get that in soon (whenever it gets out of RC versions....).
