these play by play guys are horrendous, but hilarious. i guess that's to be expected.
3rd quarter just ended for the game before Wes/Utah.

Haha Agreed.

"Chocolate Rain" in between the quarters.  Awful, but hysterical.

Wes with only 3 points and 1 rebound...ouch.

I know, but look at someone who also had a celebrated senior season, Utah State's Gary Wilkinson: 11 min, 0 points (0-3), 1 reb, 1 stl, 2 PFs, 3 TOs.

That wasn't the bad part.  The bad part was his 1 make from 4 attempts at the FT line.  He's got to knock those down.

That reminds me of my roommate streaming audio of the Buffalo Bills announcers Van and Murph - Van was obviously too old to be calling the games as he routinely called interceptions only to be corrected by Murph that no, that was a player from the other team and it was just a reception, and other such quality mistakes.  It was simultaneously terrifying and hilarious to listen to.

So Wes should take solace in the fact that he wasn't the worst one on the floor???

Not at all.

These games are hard to call as the coaches put in and take out players at their own discretion.

Just pointing out that Gary Wilkinson, the grizzled vet from the USU club that played us closely, also struggled.

I just hope Wes can do and SHOW as much as he can in the amount of time given to him.

Remember, he was coached in college by a LEGEND.
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

Exactly, and despite being a complete stiff, played well against us and in his league.  He's not an NBA talent but legends are able to do that for players...get the best out of them to at least get a look.

;)
