Matthews, McNeal to team up again?

Just heard back from Wesley Matthews, who said in a text message he's going to be playing for the Utah Jazz's entry in the NBA's Orlando Summer League, and possibly for the Sacramento Kings in the Las Vegas Summer League after that.

Jerel McNeal is already committed to play for Sacramento in Las Vegas.

The Orlando Summer League runs from July 6-10 and features teams from the Jazz, Orlando Magic, Indiana Pacers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Boston Celtics and a split squad featuring players from both the New Jersey Nets and the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Las Vegas Summer League runs from July 10-19, and features entries from 21 different NBA teams.

There has traditionally been a third summer league, The Rocky Mountain Revue, which was run by the Jazz, but the team announced last month that it would no longer run it because of the growth of the Las Vegas Summer League.

MU fans interested in catching Matthews and McNeal on TV should have plenty of opportunities to do so, as NBA TV shows virtually every game from Las Vegas multiple times throughout its schedule.
