Matthews, James work out locally

MU's Wesley Matthews and Dominic James will both work out for the Milwaukee Bucks today, as the team begins taking a closer look at potential second-round picks for next month's NBA draft.

Joining the pair will be another familiar face to MU fans -- Missouri's DeMarre Carroll, who, of course, had a big game in the Tigers' victory over the Golden Eagles in the second round of the NCAA tournament in March.

Also working out for the Bucks will be LSU's Robert Vaden, LSU's Tasmin Mitchell and Loyola-Chicago's Josh Mayo.

I'll be there, and will have a full report on how both fared later today.

Jerel McNeal, meanwhile, is expected to work out for the Bucks on Friday.

Surprised to see James ready to go this early.

Vaden went to UAB and Indiana, but never LSU.

Thanks, Todd; especially for the anticipated follow-up report. How huge would it be for in-state recruiting especially if Wes ends up in a Bucks uniform?

Josh Mayo played at UIC not Loyola. He might be 5'6" in shoes.

There are a few more on the site too.  Try to ignore that bright blue pregnant lady to the right.
