With Dale Layer leaving MU, who do we have left with credible experience working with BIGS?

Good question, difficult to answer.  We've been there before, Duane Stephenson.

I assume Buzz will hire a new assistant.  Correct?

Pretty much all of have been responsible for coaching the big men at various past jobs.  Brad Autry(Baylor), Aki Collins(Colorado), and Tony Benford(New Mexico) have all done it.  Monarch has coached some very good bigs at the JUCO level but I don't know how much they did in terms of player development.

One way or another yes.  Either someone will move up a seat and we'll hire a new DBO or CBO, or he'll go out and get another new coach.

MU has already been mentioned with former High Point head coach(and Layer assistant) Bart Lundy.  It would also not be a shock to see them go after Bill Peterson who coached with Buzz and Layer at Colorado State and is currently with the Bucks.
