I would hope we would not act like the "past glory" scumbag schools.....

The "vultures" on the Inidana board are already trying to pick these bones....

If we get fortunate that we get a player...We certainly deserve one considering what has happenned in the past year.....

Let us not drool and pine for another Universities "signed" recruits.....

Now....Vander Blue is another story.....

Kentucky's recruits were probably sold on playing for Kentucky, so are less likely to jump ship because of a coaching change. It seems to Me Buzz sells the recruits on playing for Marquette while Crean was more on selling the recruits on playing for him. Crean's incoming recruits jumped ship because they were sold on playing for Crean.

Really? Buzz sells them on MU, not himself?

Why did Joe Fulce follow Buzz around to 3 schools? Because Buzz knew he would land at MU and sold Joe Fulce on that idea from day 1?

I'm not trying to be combative, I just think that "Buzz sells them on MU not himself" is speculative at best. What has he done that has shown you that? Is it just the way he talks about MU?

First of all he wants players that want to play for MU. Second of all what does he have to sell about himself. He has no past record of success. Crean had the final four run and Dwayne Wade to use to point out how great he is. Nick Williams followed Crean because he wanted to be the next DWade.

Players commit to coaches, not universities.  Buzz is no different.

I guess my point is, all coaches are selling themselves, and that includes Buzz, right?

If Buzz was really selling "the university" Joe should have stuck with one of his former commitments, right?
