Anderson: That 1 of 2 by McNeal was big. Mizzou gets the ball with the game tied, instead of down by one.
Tiller had a bad sprain from early in the year.
Shout out to DJ...presence helped them in the second half.

Wes on Lazar:"We knew they were trying to switch. It was my job to come up the wing. He ran the baseline and made the play to 'Rel but he stepped over the line, shuffled his feet, whatever the official called. I didn't see any bad play there, but I'm not the one with the whistle."
Wes pretty much protected Lazar on that step over.
Jerel (about Tiller's "injury"): "I wasn't surprised (he came out of the game). I don't think he was the greatest free throw shooter. Technicalities of the game...if you're somewhat hurt - faking hurt - whatever it is, you can lay on the ground and then your trainer can come out and basically you got to get a sub for him. It's happened to me on (some) occasions. I've seen it done before so it wasn't a big surprise to me."
DJ on his decision to come back tonight: "(MU staff) They've been completely honest with me, and I've been completely honest with them....I went to coach and let him know that I could play. I knew I could help the team. He just asked me if I was ready and if I felt confident to go out there and play my game...He told me that the negative parts that can go and obviously I felt I could help in the positive. We discussed it a lot."
DJ about his play and his foot: "The main thing...I mean Maurice Acker has done an excellent job of running the ball club. If I could just get in for a couple of minutes and allow him to get a little bit of rest, I felt like I could do that. He came in...and he deserved to be in at the end of the game. He did an excellent job during that run to get us back in....Obviously I could not be as aggressive as I wanted to be.
I think I played solid defensively, but you know the game was never about me. It's about us just like it has always been."
Yes, DJ, you are correct about that, sir.
