Pakuni, I am glad I scrolled down to see that you fixed the couldn't care less for Marquette_g because I had it locked on my pet peeve radar, but you saved me the need to correct it.  Thanks for joining me in my battle to eradicate the misuse of the phrase.  I don't feel so all alone in my fight now.

I've always liked Gottlieb and thought he is up there with Bilas and Hubert on intelligence of the game.  He KILLS Jimmy Dykes when it's the 2 of them and makes him look stupid, and I wouldn't mind if he was on College Gameday over highlighter/tie boy Digger.

Have not executed???  Do you even watch the games? 
1. We were down by 3 with 26 seconds left to play against the #1 team in this tournament on their own court.
2. We took one of the hottest teams in the country to OT.
3. We took another 3 to the last play of the game in the BET tournament.

So I guess I have to apologize if I think we will at least be competitive against another 3 seed.

Were they losses or not?????? The pundits don't give a rip about close losses.

Wow, I haven't been able to check the board since I posted this and I didn't really think it would get this much attention.

I think I should clear a few things up.

1. I don't hate people for picking against MU

2. I wasn't trying to play the no respect card.

3. I don't hate Doug Gottlieb.  Other than anything he says about MU, I usually think he is funny and provides an interesting perspective. 

4. The issue I have with DG is that I have never heard him provide any real analysis when he calls MU overrated or picks against them.  Just tell me why Doug.
