That's more like it!  I think the coaches poll is a joke sometimes.

I'm sure CBS likes that too for Sunday's match up with Pitt...now they can bill it as #6 Pitt vs. #24 Marquette...much nicer ring to it...although most of the country will be watching the Bears advance to the Super Bowl. ;-)

It was just brought to my attention yesterday that the Pitt game is at the same time as the NFC Championship game - stoopid scheduling.  Probably just the BE to blame (or ESPN more likely), but still...a bummer.

that's what a second tv is for..  ;D  got a 20-incher temporarily set up right next to my big one.
but seriously.. we all know the saints win it 24-14....

nice to see the lady warriors at 16-2 sitting at #19 in the AP poll.. they were #16 last week but dropped 3 spots due to losing at (then #23) pittsburgh.. pitt dropped out because they followed the mu win with a loss to unranked st. john's at home.  our ladies instead followed their loss to pitt with a win vs villanova.

It;s a CBS doubleheader of MU & AFC championship, so I don't think the Worldwide leader had anything to do with it.  Dumb of the big east, first the sunday night Syracuse game and then the sunday Pitt game going up against Da Bears.

anyone find it odd that in the ESPN poll UCONN and West Virginia got more votes than Marquette.....

West Virginia not only lost to Marquette but also to Notre Dame.  Very confusing to me
