I see that one year ago today MUScoop was created.
I'd say 823 members and 34241 posts later it successfully filled the void left from RingOutAhoya.com

We've got a great admin/moderator team, but without the 823 members & fans, the site would be nothing.

I was out of town when MU played Pitt, and had no TV access whatsoever. Kept up with everything (ESPN Game Day, the kid who was rejected for wearing a warrior outfit, THE WIN, etc.) with a now old Treo and MUScoop. Despite missing the game, I had the ability to keep close to the action and, by hitting the refresh button learned of the win instantly. I, therefore, have the needle firmly implanted. Happy Anniversary! Here's to many more.........................!

I am relatively new to this site. I was surprised this morning to learn that the site is only one year old. It seemed much further along and established than that. So thank you for your hard work and congratulations.

.. Indeed, I was really shocked that the site took off as quickly as it did. When you think about it, starting with a blank slate, now 34,000+ messages and 840+ members in 12 months? That's amazing growth.

I have to admit, when RingOutAhoya.com folded, I was very skeptical that MUScoop.com would gain traction and build itself into the community it is today. I'm happy I was wrong and I'm proud that I was one of the first members to sign up. It's a great site and I thank everyone who takes part in providing me this oasis during my work day. Special thanks to the admins. Go MU!

My wife's b-day was early April, and well...was sad. But she's gradually grown less angry because it seems everyone will get a "covid birthday" (unless you don't, RIP). The next bummer though, around her b-day this year she was aggressively planning an international girls trip for Apr 2021. Whoops, probably not going to happen either.

Indeed, the place is nearly an MU institution at this point. If nobody visited/posted - we wouldn't still be here. I've called forums a dying breed - but we'll be here as long as the fans will have us...
