I absolutely love Jones the Younger (JTY). This kid is special. Tremendous zoomability!!! And he's starting to figure it out!! Just a superb performance by the young man on both ends of the floor. Our super sophs were awesome tonight!!
Great but not every thought you have needs a new thread.

Really?? Where's his cheese thread? LOL!
Sean is a disruptive force on D and has shown a knack for getting to the hoop and scoring this year. He's so fast but plays with much more control this year.
Designer cheese. Not too much salt. And no animals were harmed in the making of the cheese. Making a proper sandwich, however, is a 5 step process.
I think the difference between last year and this year is that he's learned how to change speeds instead of just blowing into the tall timer without a plan.

He's also becoming more confident finishing in the paint.

It involves Denzel Washington and immense loss of innocent lives, but the details can't be shared.
I have a complete turn around on Jones the younger. We have an incredible point guard tandem. And he brings something different than Tyler. No disrespect to Tyler.

Maybe I'll watch a few scenes from Man on Fire before I go to bed. Ever see that one? Denzel was not happy when that little girl was kidnapped.

My mom wasn't a great cook, but she "invented" a wonderful grilled cheese-and-leftover meatloaf sandwich that has been passed down through the generations.
You just make the sandwich exactly as if it's grilled cheese - we prefer cheddar, but swiss or pepper jack or even Velveeta is good - and you make it even better by putting some sliced meatloaf on there. My wife makes killer sourdough bread, and that is perfect; makes a superbly crispy, tangy patty melt.
Also very good is using pimento cheese, which a number of restaurants here in the south do. A nearby place puts some bacon pieces in the pimento cheese, and it's awesome.
Just like the Marquette basketball team.

It's all about tier 1 Gruyere if we're talking grilled cheese.

That sounds pretty delicious. And I'm a bit envious of having really good homemade sourdough bread.

I loved how during the great period of chippiness, Sean was the guy holding back Shaka and trying to calm him down. Didn't Al say that the best thing about sophomores is that they eventually become juniors? JTY is growing up really fast.
Two all league guards, another veteran guard in Mitchell, highly coveted guard in Norman coming in, etc. Jones had the cards stacked against him coming into this year and he's responded in a big way.

Carmelized onions in the grilled cheese, mayo instead of butter on the outside. You're welcome
There is some real grilled cheese snobbery in this unnecessarily created thread. White bread, American cheese, butter. That's all. You can try to fancy it up all you want in your attempts to be posh. In many ways a grilled cheese is like this MU team. The individual components sitting on the store shelf were nothing special. But when all brought together they become so much more than the sum of their parts.
American cheese is an abomination.
It ain't grilled cheese without crunchy peanut butter dripping out of it.
Not in a grilled cheese or on a burger. If you say otherwise you're just wrong and a cheese snob. Nothing else melts the same.
I'll happily admit I'm a cheese snob if it means I get to eat cheddar, Swiss, pepperjack, goat cheese, smoked gouda, havarti, etc, rather than American cheese.
Just as I'll happily admit I'm a beer snob if it means I never have to drink another PBR for the rest of my life.
If y'all want to eat and drink inferior crud, though, that's cool.
Don't forget JTY's triple on Monday. One of the biggest reg season shots in a long time.

I agree with this. Of course if you're making just a list of cheeses overall, American is way down that list. But on a burger or grilled cheese, it's way up towards the top.

The chef from The Menu said American Cheese is the best for a burger. But he's no longer with us.

This is the correct answer. I'm not throwing American cheese on a charcuterie board. The conversation here isn't about best cheeses you'd want to eat. It's about the best cheese for a grilled cheese.

Bill Self will fight - or at least make like he's gonna fight as he says, "Hold me back!" - anybody who claims that American cheese isn't the best cheese on a burger.
I can't imagine why anyone who has ever lived in Wisconsin would eat American cheese.
Kraft singles should be like artificially-colored margarine in the old days - banned in the state.
