Anyone know when single game tickets go on sale?
Oct. 31, according to the website.

Thanks
The four packs are pretty good this year. Bought four to ensure ND and UConn tickets. Throw in Creighton in that pack and it's a steal.
When I saw someone state they buy a ton of tickets to the good games just to pay for their season tickets I figured why not do the packs. I planned on going to the games anyway and I don't want to pay for some other rando's tickets/money making scheme. Normally I wait for single tickets to go on sale. I just feel that ND ass whooping is going to be a hard ticket to get.
If I read right, the 4-packs are actually 5-packs. All include the season opener against NIU.

Correct.
Also, not to many seats left in the lower bowl as well for the mini plans. Looks like gold plan is lead the blue plan is sales.

Hey Chick.....it worked.
1. Buy season tickets
2. Buy 5 game packs
3. Overpay for NMD, Senior Day, ND/UW.
Glad it works for you. Just because I don't want to line your pockets doesn't mean there are not other chumps out there who do.
Thats great.....buy the 5 game plan. It will be ok.

Illinois tickets on sale. Plenty available.
@X tickets on sale this am.....not many left at all.
Anyone going to the Illinois game? I am thinking of going and might be solo, so wondering what section people are buying tix in.

You might want to think about taking a camera and getting a seat across from the Illinois bench. Give Juwan Howard a call...he might be willing to pay for your seat.
It's telling me I can only buy as part of a four-pack?

X away is always a tough ticket. MU gets an allotment but not many and the Jones Family & Friends get most of those rightfully. Expect to have to buy in the secondary market.
Fun venue. Great and knowledgeable fans. Happy to be in the BE. Going to the University of Cincinnati games in the OBE was often life threatening in contrast.

I remember roadtripping in the 1990s ( O'Neill and Deane eras) to watch Marquette play UC. Then the arena in Clifton was The Shoemaker Center, adjacent to Nippert Stadium. The bars were Uncle Woodys and the Bearcat Lounge. Think of the Avalanche on steroids. Great, great fun.

I made the trip to Cincy every year during the KO era and had a blast. Ran into Majerus one time when he is in the IR due to health reasons.
Have to admit I think I might have been over served during to my trips to Cincy. That said, had a ton of fun.
Everyone heads to the Over-the-Rhine district in Cincy now. That's were all the Beer Halls, restaurants, and bars are. The new FC Cincinnati arena is here and it's about 15 minute walk from the riverfront which is loaded with restaurants and bars on Freedom Way which connects the Bengals & Reds stadiums. Since my kid graduated we missed attending Parents Weekend.
There's a very good brewery across the street from the Xavier campus, the Listermann Brewery. It's like two blocks from the Cintas Center.
Those who have been to the Cintas Center:
How are the 200-level seats? Still a decent vantage point? Too far away? OK? Awful?

Not bad at all. The stadium is small relative to what we are accustomed to with the Bradley Center/Fiserv. Great stadium to see a game, with no bad seats. Very cool that it is right on campus too. Concourses/concessions can be a little tight, but overall as far as game viewing and atmosphere it is great.
Dana Gardens is a fun dive bar type pre and post-game spot.
Back in Milwaukee, not a ton of inventory based on the STH presale today, unless MU is holding seats back. At this point season tickets and mini plans have been on sale for awhile, so I'm not sure why they would.
I don't know what the record for MU's average attendance is, but I gotta think there's a good chance it falls this year.
Same experience - my initial thought was when I saw the available seats was "the general public is not going to have much to choose from"

Section 215 is where most of the visitor inventory is. A nice bar terrace there at the top overlooking the floor. As to viewing, it's a bit steep like an old baseball stadium or the BC but not bad.

I think this will be a record year on the resale market with STHs scooping up the packs to sell.
When I picked single games, NMD had less selection than ND. And neither had many together. I note that MU has been stressing their resale service in communication whereas it was a footnote before.
Btw, that Tickmaster app gives me angina. What a piece of clunky crap.
A noted change this year: the complimentary non-con tickets can't be picked individually. You fill out a survey and won't find out until the week before the game if you got seats and where they are.

This makes sense as MU wants to sell as many tickets as they can before allocating the complimentary tickets. And I assume the higher money donors will get the best complimentary seats.
Gotta profit when MUBB is good.

I've been 3 or 4 times and sat in the 200s every time. The seats were totally fine. Had no complaints. I plan on going back this year and will most likely be in the 200s again
Already looking forward to it!

If you are a sports fan and a beer drinking and bar hopping kind of guy ( and I check both boxes), Cincinnati is a very underrated city, IMO. Love going to Cincy in the summer for Brewers/Reds games. Hot Friday night in June; standing on the open-air right field concourse looking down on the Ohio River with an ice cold Yuengling Tall Boy in hand. Can you picture it??

Thanks to you, Dr. B and SW for answering. Given the inventory, we'll probably buy in the 200s too.
Already have our Butler tix and we're planning on going to GT as well. And of course a couple of home games. Exciting times for MU hoops fans!

At Cintas I sat in the 200 level for an MU game and it was fine. The place only seats about 11,000 and has kind of a bandbox feel---you're always on top of the action. Besides, unless you're buying in the secondary market, "better" seats would be pretty hard to come by.
At Hinkle, get there early enough to walk around the lower concourse and soak up all of the history. Very much worth it. The Fenway Park of college basketball.

I happen to check both boxes. I agree on Cincy being a fun town. Have been to number of Reds games over the years and always enjoyed myself. Even enjoyed myself in Covington over the years.

Believe it or not, I got to play some pickup games at Hinkle about 25 years ago. It was a blast ... even though my selfish teammates didn't run the Picket Fence play for me!
My buddies and I have gone there twice for MU games, including last year's Big East clincher. Ran into a few Scoopers in the bar just down the block from Hinkle. It's been a lot of fun. Highly recommended.

There's a Hofbrauhaus in Newport, KY (across the river).
Anyone else having issues with the presale? The email from Tuesday said there would be an email sent at the selection time, but I've received nothing today. On the "My Marquette Account" page there is no way to access single game tickets for the presale that was supposed to start 10 minutes ago...

Maybe I missed the communication, but was it ever communicated that the process was different this year? Request vs. Pick the seats? Incredibly confusing.

I'm trying to get 5 lower bowl for ND game- you guys think it's better to wait for single game ticket sales or just get them thru stubhub?
I almost bought them a month ago, then figured I'll wait for single game ticket sales, but now it seems like there isn't much in the lower bowl still available.
I'll be going with 4 of my closest non MU friends and they haven't been to a Marquette game since my undergrad years (2003) and they've never been to FiServ so I'm trying to impress them with the ultimate experience.
Hope they don't want to go to Arts again...

At this point, I doubt there's 5 tickets together for ND. Stub Hub might be your best option.
Just checked with the presale access... only scattered single seats left for ND downstairs.
It looks like MU is holding some uppers for mini-plans still, but probably not more than a couple hundred seats. Wonder if those will be released on Tuesday to the public.

Just bought a group of 5 on StubHub for ND. Options are getting slim everywhere. Marquette is already a hot ticket and the season is 10 days away from starting yet.
Have they announced the time for the single-game sakes on Tuesday? I do not see it on the website.
Just picked up 2 for the ND Crying Irish section 107 row 22 (vivant was the best price) Go Warriors!
The MU Bball FB page posted a link saying single game tix can be purchased today. I just bought some for three games, scattered around, did the best I could.
Can't find link, where was it?

TicketMaster has the games up online. Not sure that was supposed to happen.
Weird that they're available when they aren't supposed to go on sale till tomorrow morning.
Unfortunately, the only 2 games we're definitely going to, all that's available on TM are single seats. Hopefully when tix actually go on sale tomorrow, there will be more. If not, I guess it'll have to be one of the brokers.
You're right, I can buy them directly on my Ticketmaster app.

As long as we're sharing personal ticket buying experiences...
On Sunday, I checked Creighton's website, and was able to purchase the last 2 tickets together in the CHI Health Center for MU on their Senior Day.
That game will most likely have Big East Title implications. :P
So we have three games right now, and will sit in the secondary market for a couple others.
My son just texted me a little bit ago, "want to do something crazy?" His version of "crazy" is a hastily planned trip to Milwaukee for the Creighton game. We've got the tickets...Section 107. Now he's working on flights and I'm working on a hotel. I didn't get him to attend Marquette, but I guess I did something right.
It'll be my first time back to Milwaukee since the Cincinnati game in February 1993.
Bought Texas tickets through the presale, but a buddy I'm going with ended up getting some, too. Can't directly resell because of the presale restrictions, so if anyone is interested in 3 seats in section 203 for face value ($125 total), let me know.
Games that were sold with one of the two mini plans, do not have too many single game tickets left. So, games like Villanova on MLK Day has many seats avaiable. Butler, DePaul & PC would be the other BE games. FYI.
Wow! Looking game by game, you can tell the Fiserv is going to be packed this year!
All the weekend games look essentially sold out already, in addition to Texas and Notre Dame. Georgetown isn't too far behind either.

There used to be a decent amount of GT fans at the Bradley Center when GT was good. I wonder if they are coming out of the woodwork again with Cooley being the head coach? Or is it just a more attractive game now for MU fans because of that as well as MU being really good?

Not even many available for Monday night, which they threw in with the mini plans. 9 games that are either sellouts or within a couple hundred seats of being one. Pretty awesome.
Here's a little tip about something my son noticed and took advantage of. While it's not optimal, there are two singles one in front of the other in Section 107 -- Seat 12 in Rows 6 and 7. It's a way for two people to get a really good seat and still almost sit together.

Some seats are not for sale yet as they are blocked off still for mini plan sales. So, some singles will open up in a couple of weeks.
I was looking at the seats in different rows as well.
We now have 1/10, 1/15, 2/25 and 3/4.
We were going to wait on break games as they in the past put student tickets up, but decided not to this year.
Really wanted 2/25 as several of us went to Greensboro in 1974, I believe our group member assigned to that game bought them on the resale market..
I told the group that next year we will have to go back to miniplans and just eat some games. We liked those plans when you could pick among a few games.
