I generally buy 5-10 new MU shirts/swears/fleeces/etc per year. I noticed that the MU Spirit Shop is pretty depleted and the variety is lacking. I'm fortunate I wear a small but I do like my hoodies and fleeces in a medium. Anyway, are there auxiliary options? Is this a supply chain issue? What's the inventory on campus? Ty.
My God, Muggsy. I thought I bought a lot of MU gear. If there's a supply issue, it's guys like you overbuying! Even after all these years I've probably only got 30-40 pieces (they do have their own cupboard, though).

He's not over buying. He gets coffee stains on so many shirts that he has to stock up.
5-10 per year sounds normal to me... and if he wants to buy more, feel free - I sure as hell am not gonna wear a size small
Haven't looked.
3 hats
3 Polos
3 quarterzips
1 hoodie.
2 tee shirts

I can get carried away.... but I hand down stuff to my nephs as well. I'm relieved to have snagged the retro shooting shirt and a Mecca T-Shirt.

There is more inventory in smalls but I feel overall they need to step-up our options.

I'll admit I am a bit superstitious. I have gotten rid of some MU gear if the results have sucked and re-examined my options Scoop Snoop.
Mugsy,
Fanatics.com
Shortage is transitory.
There was plenty of Warriors gear at St. Martin's fair a week ago.
I still have the sweatshirt that I bought in '66. Besides being very faded and having some moth holes, it seems to have shrunk quite a bit.

Yeah but how many sweater vests ya got?
After the UNC blowout I retired all of my MU gear out of anger. I have begun wearing my MU hoodie this week and it actually got me excited for the season.
2 "We Are Playboy's no 1 Catholic Party School" tee shirts from my freshman and sophomore years
2 "Marquette Alumni" Tee shirts
1 MU hoodie
1 MULax bag, 1 hoodie, 1 polo, 1 practice tee, 1 regular tee, home & away shorts & jerseys from when I played freshman year
2 athletic gear tops (1 w/o sleeves, 1 tee)
6 pairs of bball shorts (1 converse circa 2010, 2 Jordan's pre change from 2011, 2 Jordan's post change 2013, 1 100 anniversary jerseys pair)
3 jerseys (numbers were purchased for Lazar, DJO, Markus)
2 golf polos.
1 MU baseball hat
1 MU winter hat
As I write this I realize I haven't bought anything outside of the Markus jersey and shorts since 2015 when I got the alumni tees and golf polos
I made a quilt out of a lot of my tees.
Historically, I have gotten 4-5 a year just by attending basketball games, Marquette Madness, etc.
You're a small? A small.

Anybody have an answer for Muggsy? I get to campus about once a year and the pickings are
always slim. Why ?
Pure speculation, but the on-campus one may be a bit depleted due to new students and families getting to campus recently. Supply Chain issues probably don't help either.
I think the online Spirirt Shop is operated separately from the on-campus one. There might be other issues going on there.
They might also be transitioning to the new batch of Basketball gear that may not be in until closer to the season.
19Nine.com has some great retro shirts for MU & old Big East.

Honestly, it seems to be related to the other complaints about poor marketing. (Marquetting?)

This was fairly common in my HOG chapter, many make quilts from all their HD T-shirts.

Shorter beds, less legroom in planes for more rows of seats, outlawing height restrictions at amusement parks...

I have always felt those signs at amusement parks were beyond belittling. There was also a time when there was a suit store in the Chicago area called Wallaby Station and then Napoleon's Tailor. Totally inexcusable.

It is indeed inexcusable. In reality, Napoleon was average height for men of his era.

Too difficult to start up a new league Muggs. Let's lower the rim as you suggested and expand the goal tending rules to include any hands above the rim-no dunks, tip ins, or blocks and rebounds above the rim. The diminutive people will absolutely love the new rules.
Then, moving on to vehicles: mandate steeply sloped hoods, adjustable pedal extensions, and higher seat elevation settings.
Edicts in home construction and furnishings could include lower riser height for stairs, lower kitchen counter height, and at least 2 rungs on the legs of barstools for climbing up on them.
Give me time to come up with some other ideas and I will get back to you
shorty shortly.
