Here is a summary for anyone who didn't attend. A new staff planned the event. The banquet started off great. Looked like it was going to be the best event in years. However, about 2/3 if the way through the event went off the rails. What started with tons of promise ended as just another below average, uninspiring, underachieving event that was a waste of everyone's time and showed no signs that future banquets would be any better.

If the mods on this site can't handle banning the few obvious bad faith trolls we get they should add some to the staff

I don't know if you were directing this at Newsie or not, but Newsie was 100% being sarcastic there. But you are correct that there are some who make those kind of attacks against players, that's who Newsie was making fun of
