Great team game.

Completely different team when he is in the game

Bailey but Jayce ruled the paint
Bailey - Jayce - Koby
Son of Thurl
Jayce and Bailey.
Bailey then Jayce
There are some games where I see Brendan as a potential NBA player. Today was one of those games.
Great balanced effort, though.
Bailey
Bailey.
Real tough one today.
Koby - 16pts, 6 assists, 2 reb
Jayce - 9 pts, 0 assists, 7 reb
Brendan - 16 pts, 1 assist, 8 reb
Markus - 17 pts, 3 assists, 4 reb
Jayce is making a serious impact, but I think Koby today. Hit some shots that really pushed the energy, along with a solid assist day.
Bailey. Established himself early & had an impact at both ends. The three he splashed to cap the 9-0 run was the father dagger.
Bailey. Jayce close second.

He really picked things up at the end and loved the back-to-back threes + the save to Bailey. But the 5 turnovers hurt a bit. Forced too much to beat out BB or JJ.

Koby was great in stretches but he has 6 TOs. Bailey played about as flawless game as he could (save for a defensive lapse or two)
Jayce almost deserves to start at this point
Jayce. If he doesn't hit those FTs when they were hacking him, game gets real scary. Not to mention the rest of his game today.

Don't mess with a good flow. When he plays better than Theo, he gets more minutes.
Bailey.
Brendan, with Koby a very close second
Gotta go with Brendan. It all came together for him.
Hope we can keep up this balanced scoring attack.

Good call on the turnovers. Feeling so good today I overlooked them!
Bailey.
I love Kobe's assist while he was flat on the floor with someone on his back
Good problem to have
How bout this...Wojo for coaching up the D???????

Hmmmm agreed

Kib bc of what he brought at PG plus he's 2 3's started the big run. Next time down they decidedto leave BB open.

How Theo who can not catch or rebound or play defense without fouling gets equal to or more minutes than Jayce is absolutely baffling to me. Total projo but cannot wrap my head around this one
BB
Jayce and POS....errrr...Koby with honorable mentions.

Easy to feel good about that game. Probably the best all year. Koby still played very well.
1. Jayce -- animal on the boards and he can finish around the basket. Too bad he's one and done for us.
2. Brenden had a good all around game.
BB
Jayce.
Period.
No debate. Was dominate inside today.
Brendan. Koby, Jayce and Markus follow.
Wojo was great today. Team was well prepared. Threw some different defenses at Baldwin and he made some tough shots. Offense ran some crisp sets.
BB

gotta go with BB, koby had a nice game but he makes me nervous

Brendan Bailey.
Bailey. He played a great all around game.

startnomatta. I totally trust Wojo on the way he allocates minutes to the 5. He has been excellent at it as MU coach.

Theo was awesome against X, and has had several other fine games. The games Theo doesn't have it, or Jayce simply outplays him, Jayce gets plenty of run. Trust the coach. He sees them every day in practice. Theo has been a warrior for 3 years. Absolutely no reason to make a change.

Sorry, my brother, but I will debate.
I thought Bailey was the best player on the floor today, from the opening tip to the very end. Great effort, great shooting, led us in rebounding, nice D, only 1 TO in 30+ mins, didn't force anything - every shot he took was the right play. When he plays like this, we are very difficult to beat.
Jayce runner-up.
Then McEwen - a little too loose with the ball at times, but a few nice assists and two dagger 3s.
Bailey
I wanted it to be Koby after that stretch of 3, 3, and the assist from the floor that led to a made three by Bailey. Turned the game from a "Oh god if Baldwin gets hot they could get back in this" game to a game that Tommy Gardiner gets some playing time. But overall game I think it belongs to Bailey.
Shout out to the bigs and Anim for their defense. Golden was coming off a game where he scored 18 points and went 9/11 against Nova. Jayce and Theo combined to hold him to 7 points on 3/11 shooting. Anim was the primary defender on McDermott and he went 0/5 from the floor.
I also want to give an honorable mention to Markus and Wojo. Markus has a tendency to try and make games a one on one matchup when the opposing team's staf player gets hot. There was a point where Wojo pulled Markus aside and seemed to have a direct conversation with him. I don't know what was said, but I hypothesize that he was reminding Markus that the best way to beat Baldwin was to beat him with the whole team. From that point, Markus scored 6 points, went 2/2 from the field, drew a foul, got a steal, and turned it over once. Good situational awareness to help seal the game.
Bailey
Bailey
Jayce, for D and bounds.
Can't argue with Brendan, who also played good D.
Koby.

I like this post a lot.
Bailey
I'll go Koby, although have no problem with BB or JJ. Nice a have a three way race without M2N (no offense to him).
I don't see how one can argue Jacye because of the boards, when Bailey grabbed the most and more impressive ones too. Needless to say it's more fun debating who is SOTG.

1. BB
2. Jayce.
3. KM.
Bailey for SOTG, Jayce a strong second.
Others have mentioned this, but I would also like to give kudos to Wojo for how he handled Markus today. This was the first time I've seen Wojo be demonstrable in curbing Markus's instinct to try to take over a game. Bodes well for him and this team.
Bailey!
Bailey ! ! ! 8-)

Yessir. AND his handling of Koby after 'mock flop' to get his focus realigned with an arse kicking and a little think about it bench time. Koby re-entered the game with determination and great focus.
Halftime Show Chihuahua
Then Brendan
Rushed to put of the pic, and never left a comment..
This one was (clearly?) Bailey. And Koby and Jayce weren't bad options either. But I'm actually shocked that the leading scorer for Marquette only got 3 "runner up" votes! So fortunately today the SOTG is also the SOTGOTM, but he's still underappreciated.

Reasonable take. Another example of how good Markus is when him being our leading scorer and adding 4 R and 3 A makes pretty much all of us say, "Is that all?"
