Carter Blackburn and Debbie Antonelli on the call on TBS.
More like 3:30pm.
I hope my DVR is working. Coaching baseball in the time frame.
That blows
Guess my client from 3 to 5 on Thursday will be getting a break
Not ideal, but better than 11am.
I would guess closer to 3:45-4pm.
Prior game is at 2pm eastern .. could easily go to 4:15, plus 30 minutes change = 4:45 eastern.
I'll be taking the afternoon off on Thursday to go to Hartford.
Thought about going but the logistics of getting from South Florida to Hartford was just too much.
Game starts at 430 and my schedule has now been blocked for it
Heading out from Milwaukee on Thurs Morning.
I have grad school class at Marquette that is scheduled to start at 5:45. How much do I have to ask the professor to back up class by in order to catch the whole game? Think 6pm will be enough?
Yes, tip off will be closer to 445 (ET) if the usual pattern holds. These tourney games run long because of the long commercial breaks.
I'm psyched! Most important thing will be to pace myself, because I plan on planting myself on a barstool by 2 ET or so!! I'm thrilled that no NC teams are playing Thu afternoon, so I won't have to fight the UNC or Duke crowds.

MU82 - Can't believe you're not taking the opportunity to go see the game live and then visit your old stomping grounds in Milford.

Many 20 second timeouts are fulls. Plus, halftime is 20 minutes. Gametime will be closer to 3:45CT.

Tempting but I've got too much else going on next week. Plus, we've got trips planned for May, June and July. Only so much $$$ to go around!
I'll enjoy watching our Warriors win on TV.
As for Milford ... I've only been once since 1990 -- made it to my 25th year HS reunion. My parents left there in 1985, none of my brothers live anywhere near there, and all of my lifelong friends are my MU buddies. There literally is nothing there for me. I'll probably make it back for my 50th reunion ... though that's still a decade away.

Maybe try working the past 20+ years hey
Good think I'm off on Thursday

I've been working, got more $$ than I'll ever need, and a Sugar Mama too ... but thanks for your concern.
You maybe try finding a woman who loves you hey. (nh)

Oh, so $$$ isn't a concern? You just said it was. Fraud.
So we'll be the last game of the afternoon sessions on Thursday, meaning we'll fill that gap as the only game on until the evening sessions get up and running. Lots of eyeballs focusing on the Howard v. Morant matchup.

$$$ isn't a concern because I don't waste it on superfluous things. There's plenty of it to go around for all of our needs and most of our wants. I've been very lucky in life -- great family growing up, great wife and kids now, went to a great college, never wanted for anything, lots of love and friendship, lots of tremendous role models starting with my dad.
Oh, and you said I haven't worked for the past 20+ years. You, my friend, are a liar. If you'd like to discuss it man-to-man instead of by lying on the board, feel free to PM me.
This is cute
I have class. Ughhhhh

In the past, some students have been able to talk their prof into turning on the game instead of having a lecture. Just an idea...
Or simply skip class.

Only on this site, during the week of an NCAA tournament game, would we get a dick-measuring catfight like this. Par for the course.

People like it when Scoop plays the hits. Between this, Chicos creating 10 new negative MU threads a day disguised as "sharing other people's opinions", and vogue telling us how Al would have done things better, we're firing on all cylinders. It's important to peak at tournament time.

The in-your face insults seem odd, but it has been an epic week at MUSCOOP.
I should also note that the lack of "wrist injury" jokes has been perplexing ?-(

We don't get the easy rebounds or basic assists on scoop. Only the hard rebounds and the complex assists.

Because it's his left wrist.
The wrist injury isn't joke material. It's cost us losing 5 out of the last 6 games.

Howard's wrist injury may not be funny, generalized wrist injuries for other people are fair game, and perfect fodder for oblique sexual references. It's somewhere in the scoop by-laws . . .

True. Not his shooting wrist.

Was my reference too oblique?
No. But someone with talent has a left and right handle.

Gil Thorp still coaching at Milford?

I think he is, in the funny papers.
We actually did have a Milford High, and they were our archrivals. I went to Jonathan Law HS, which was named after a former Conn governor. My freshman year (I think), a third HS opened on the other side of town, Foran HS. They had the newest and best everything, including a pool. Our swim team (which I was on for a couple years) had to bus there to practice every day because we didn't have our own pool. A few years after I graduated, Milford closed. So we had Milford, with 2 high schools but no Milford HS. Which was kind of depressing, even though I hated 'em.
