I would tend to agree. Along with everyone that said Henry Ellenson would be a very serviceable pro and average 10 PPG and get more than his fair share of playing time.

Uhh...Quin Snyder is the coach of the Utah Jazz...and had a very good year last year with G. Hayward.
Just a person that would like to see a successful Marquette Basketball program once again. If you recall Lovell gave Wojo a big raise after his first year at Marquette. I'm thinking that Lovell and Wojo both need to go! Lovell, will try to hold on to Wojo as long as he can because he doesn't want to admit he made a mistake that has cost Marquette a large sum of money!

Well his entire post is out of date.
Amaker has done very well at Harvard and word has been that he doesn't want to leave because his wife is on the faculty.
Dawkins is now at UCF and done well.
Brey has been very good at ND.
Collins took Northwestern to their first NCAA tournament since the peach basket era.
Capel probably has the inside track to take over for Coach K.

If every coach got just 4 years to succeed to the level that their fanbase wanted them to there would be very, very few coaches in college basketball.

Actually there would be the same number as there are now. 361 D1 teams means 361 D1 head coaches - or do you really think that most teams would just do without?

I think programs would just fold. Buying out contracts every 4 years and paying new coaches big salaries isn't very cost efficient.

Oh no, just pointing out that most fans are irrational when it comes to their own teams. Human nature. That doesn't mean they are ashtrays wrong though, sometimes coaches need to go in four years or less.

OK, I will be charitable and give him a C- to a D+. But if you consider him average, fine. He is getting paid for performance and not average performance. He is getting paid to compete for BEast championships which he is not and get into the tourney more than every third year. He is not getting paid to be bottom tier BEast, every two or 3 years.

Put WI BB on the map? Who said that? I said Wojo was in on recruitment of him early on. We should have jumped on him when he backed out of WI. He would start for Rousey next year.

Sometimes more work will get a kid to stay home, but sometimes you simply can't overcome the glitz of a blue blood program. See, e.g., Joe Wolf (UNC), Calvin Rayford (KU), JP Tokoto (UNC), Kevon Looney (UCLA).
And the Hausers reportedly did not want to play with him.
