That Plus/Minus column is comparative to seed. If you are favored and win you get +1. Not favored and lose you get -1. If you get upset it is the diff between seeds divided by two (minus) and the opposite (plus) if you upset a team. Min for a win is +1 and -1 for loss.
SEC had to play one another so guaranteed win and also guaranteed loss.
PAC-12 probably looking the best at this point.
UNC helping ACC's cause though given how high the conference's average seed has still underperformed in tourney by far.

It operates on the principle that a win is counted only if you are an underdog. A loss only if you were favored to win and lost.

That can't be. All the other "bids" match w-l, with the exception of a couple because of the play in games. BE should just be 3-4.

Yep. Especially obvious because it says BE is 2-0 with a .429 winning %.

You're right. His numbers just don't make any sense.

Fixed. Percentage was right, record was wrong.
Bump for end of Second Round.
Wouldn't have guessed that ACC would only have one S16 team ... and UNC was pretty fortunate to beat Arkansas.
Bump for Sweet Sixteen update.
The thing that has really impressed me about the SEC teams is the defense - SC, UK and UF all are very solid defensive teams.

Each is long, strong and athletic. Very same attributes MU has been missing.
Bump for Elite Eight update.

Adjusted for seed and expected performance, the Big East did just fine
Irrefutable evidence that Marquette needs to quit the Big East and join the West Coast Conference. But, will the nursing home let me stay up late enough to watch the games?
